The Diversity Campus Experience (DiCE) is a program hosted by Auburn University every fall. While working at the Office of Inclusion and Diversity I designed the print material for the program. Which consisted of Program Booklets, menus, name tags, directional signs, and tshirts.
To celebrate the 7th anniversary of the Auburn University Creed. The Creed was translated into multiple languages to express the diversity of the Auburn Family. I was tasked with creating a poster in Spanish.

Diasweetees is a range of chocolate bars that are catered to the needs of Diabetics.
The challenge was to create a line of chocolate bars.
The reptitive circles/rings and use of different shades of blue were meant to pay homage to the blue ring which is the universal symbol of diabetes. The differing colors of the bars are used to highlight the different flavors of the bars. Upon reflection instead of adding multicolored circles on the outside of the box and introducing the lighter shade of blue which doesn’t appear anywhere else, I would have used the dark blue on the entire box without circles or rings as it seems a bit juvenile and overkill when the short explanation of the ring on the side of the box is higlighted already.
For this project, an ice cream parlor in Pittsburg was in need of a new website design.
The challenge was to create an inviting website that highlighted Klavon’s history. Because Klavon’s was originally opened in the 1920’s I incorporated some subtle background patterns that were inspired by art deco styled patterns. I also wanted to highlight all the fun ways ice cream could be used, which was something that was missing from the old site, so I incorporated fun ice cream icons, as well as dripping elements that lead into the next sections on the site. I also updated the color palette by incorporating colors that were similar to popular colors from the 1920’s, as well as colors that were bright, like the pink, and inviting, like the cool blue.
Petal Polish is a all natural, vegan, cruelty free nail polish brand. The challenge was to create a design that showcased the natural, floral of the nail polish. The die cuts are meant to showcase the colors of the polish available in the set. The tan color of the set as well as the muted color of the flower patterns was chosen to be represntative of the natuaral aspect of the product. The handwritten “Petal” in contrast with the typed “Nail Polish” is meant to juxtapose the the natural, organ ingredients, and the artificial ingredients that allow it to be a high quality nail polish.
The Bluest Eye is a classic novel by nobel prize winner Toni Morrison. The book explores the themes of racism, innocence, and the idea of how being perceived by others affects how you perceive yourself.
For this project the focus was to create an abstract cover that related to one of the themes of the book. The blue flower on the cover is meant to represent not only the literal blue from the title, but as well to be a symbol of innocence. The script and italicized typefaces are used to be complimentary to the flower. The darkness surrounding the flower and wrapping around to the spine is meant to hint at the darker themes of the book.
Face First is a skincare company that creates products specific to five different regions in the United States. All products provide different benefits to give the consumer healthy glowing skin no matter their climate and weather.
The script writing, illustrations and bold colors were used to give the products a natural feel, but also to distinguish the different regions from one another.
